I Love Moustache!

Last night was an awesome Friday night! My friends and I decided to go out to dinner at a place called Kesari’s, which was really actually amazing. Kesari’s is an awesome restaurant in English Harbour that serves a lot of asian influenced Tapas. It was my first time there and I will definitely be going back sometime soon!
So I decided to make the coolest sign ever and was determined to get a lot of good photos with this sign. So after dinner, my friends and I ended up heading to the mad mongoose where we had a few drinks and met some people and I started getting some great photos. It’s amazing how much support you can get from people just by having a sign and a camera. People didn’t even really ask WHY I was doing it they just wanted to hold a sign.
So I got pictures with a lot of the people in the Mad Mongoose, but saw these 2 gorgeous girls, probably the prettiest girls I had seen in Antigua in a long time, and was just about to go ask them for a picture with the sign, and they left the bar.. I was a little heart broken, but I would survive… Sad Face.
It was house music night down at the gallery, so we decided to mosey on down there after our drinks at mad mongoose. We got there around 10:30 and there was only a few people there to start with, but those 2 gorgeous girls were there, so I didn’t waste my time and got a picture with them.
Emily and Mia were in Antigua on vacation from Florida (I forget where) and Boston, and were leaving Antigua tomorrow. Let me say something, people think Antigua is a paradise, and I guess it is. The only problem with being on an island of tourism, is you meet amazingly great people, who are gorgeous, down to earth and fun to hang out with… and they leave the next day. Sadness. But I guess on the bright side I would never have met them if I wasn’t in Antigua, so you can’t be too negative!
Emily and I started talking and it turns out, she is a cancer survivor. Emily survived lung cancer! It really hits home that a girl my age has already gone through something like that. It really reinforced that growing this Mo is a very important thing to be doing and I felt really proud of the growth of my insanely awesome Mo!
I introduced Emily and Mia to some of my friends down at the Gallery and it seemed like they had a really good last night in Antigua. Emily said that she was going to donate to the cause as well! So hopefully I hear from her again soon! Mia’s mom comes down to Antigua a lot to see her friend down here, so hopefully they will come back down and we can show them the island, local style!
Speaking about meeting really awesome people. I was introduced to a girl named Alicia that lived blocks from me in Vancouver and is friends with a few of my friends from Van. It’s really funny that I have to move halfway across the world to meet someone that lived a block or two away from your home town. Not only that, but she knew where my small home town of 3000 people was, and HAD BEEN THERE!
My friends Nick and Piers were down at the gallery as well. Hilarious and true story, when I got there Piers had a full beard happening. He had told me he was growing a Mo as well, so I gave him shit for not having a Mo. I went off and was hanging out with some other people, and hadn’t see Piers for a while, when suddenly at 1:03am, I get a tap on my shoulder and see that Piers has a Moustache. HE WENT HOME AT 12 to go shave a Mo! Now that is fucking awesome!
Nick also decided that day that he was going to grow a Mo! I am so proud of all my Mo Bros. Such a great cause, and fun too!
I had written a post about an awesome game called Moustache Hunters yesterday. Basically if you haven’t read the rules, you put people’s hair between your upper lip and nose while they aren’t looking and try to make a moustache without that person noticing. This is a TOUGH game. People notice pretty easily! You need nimble fingers, cat like reflexes and ninja stealthyness.
I can almost guarantee this is going to be a game throughout MOvember that is played a lot! But no one got an actual point. People kept noticing! So I am going to work on my stealthy Mo skills so that I can start earning some points!
This is the closest we got to an actual point last night, but somehow at the last minute Melissa turned around to notice what was going on!
All in all last night was an awesome night. Good people, good vibes, good drinks, and good music! Nothing to complain about! Thanks to everyone that let me take pictures of them with a MoMoFoSho Sign! I really appreciate it! Thanks for spreading the word for me as well about growing the mo for prostate cancer!
I hope tonight is just as fun! Ray Jones JR vs Callzaghe and Randy Couture vs Brock Lesnar are fighting and we are watching it at Connors Sports Bar! Sounds like a pretty good night to me, but it’s going to be hard to last night’s epic fun times of beautiful girls, good friends and Motastic Moustaches!
