Shocked Looks From CoWorker Nikki!

Movember 4th

Well just as I suspected, gaining Nikki’s approval oof my moustache isn’t going to be an easy task at all!

Let me tell you a little about Nikki.  First off, Nikki is awesome, we get along really great and I consider her not just a coworker but a friend.  Something I love about her is how honest she is….. about everything.. if she thinks something is stupid, she tells you, if she loves something….. she still tells you how stupid you are.. haha.

Like for an example, Somedays I wear suits to work,

“WHY ARE YOU SO DRESSED UP GREG! YOU LOOK STUPID” Nikki would say.

So the next day I wore shorts and a t-shirt with sandals,

“Greg you look like a bum!” Nikki would shout!

So just imagine when I walked in this morning with Jeans, a Polo, Sandals, and a fancy new Moustache…. I was expecting something to be said.. instead I got her to shake her head in disapproval.  

But, I tell you, by November 30th, Nikki will love this moustache!

Something Nikki and I do agree on is not caring about the election.  I know its big news and I know it is history in the making, but we just can’t wait till tomorrow when at least the “who you voting for”, “gobama”, and name is the 1,450,404 person to donate their facebook status to get out there and vote” cheers and jeers are over.  I wonder if those million or so people that changed their status on facebook are even going to vote.  I think more than half of those status changes were non-American’s anyways.

So to lighten the mood of Election Tuesday, I have done 1 Jump kick for your viewing pleasure.  This is one of the reasons my job rocks so much!

Growing up, I had a lot of very inspirational idols that I looked up to a lot like Zack Morris, The Frog Brothers from Lost Boys and of course everybody’s hero, The Tick.  These people shaped my future into being the man I am today.. Supa Awesome.  Although no matter what I do I will never live in the perfect world that my Idols did.  Zack got Kelly, The Frog Brothers created a multi-million dollar vampire slaying business and The Tick, well we will get into that in a minute.

Well the world is not fair, sometimes its down right tough, for example, growing a moustache takes time and when shaving, you can get the worst cuts, nicks and the dreaded dry skin.  Moustaches, although great to have are to be honest, a pain to grow and groom.  In a perfect world a moustache would grow in perfectly overnight.

Well, my love for the moustache may have come from my jealousy of the Tick’s ability to grow a perfect moustache over night.  The Tick lives in the perfect world.  Not only can the tick fight crime like no other, he also was able to grow a perfect moustache over night!

Those my friends, are words to live by!  Although I feel rugged, self assured and adult, I never will be able to have the perfect Mo over night.

But the fact that I won’t have the perfect Mo over night won’t stop me from having the perfect mo.. Fo Sho!  And one day, I hope to be your hero, just like the Tick is mine.
